1. What is the primary reason that someone should enroll at Albertus?

Truths:

  • Small Size and strong sense of community
  • Personal and individualized attention

Trends:

  • Location
  • Amazing faculty and advising


2. What could Albertus do better?  What is holding the College back from achieving this goal?

Truths:

  • Internships
  • Real World Exploration
  • Building Student Initiatives
  • Career Services
  • Global Preparedness

Trends:

  • Alumni Involvement
  • Communication between employers and potential employers  

Unique Ideas:

  • High School and Freshman Interaction
  • Offering expanded languages program

3. If you were going to give $2 million to the College, for what would you give it - and why?

Truths:

  • Updating the campus facilities
  • Athletic Center and baseball fields

Trends:

  • Adding a nursing program
  • Offering more financial aid

Unique Ideas:

  • Student Programming and better Internship Program


4. How can we proactively meet the needs of students and potential employers in a global economy?

  • Offering Scholarships and grants and no increase in size

  • Modernize the dorms

5. How do we ensure a healthy student population at Albertus Magnus College in the face of economic and demographic challenges, including reductions in federal and state funding for higher education?

  • More Work Study opportunities
  • Work Compensation – hours worked and money earned matched by the College as aid


5. What will make Albertus relevant ten years from now? (What do you think people will be looking for from a College in the next 10 years?)

  • Finances: too much to go here

  • Advertising money put to better use
